Certainly, self-management is an option. However, employing an external plan manager enables you to concentrate on what’s most important: yourself and your family. An external plan manager does not reduce your plan’s funds; rather, they assist you by providing options and facilitating payments for your services. Without a plan manager, you would have to pay upfront and then seek reimbursement.

02. What is an LAC?

A Local Area Coordinator (LAC) is a person associated with community-based organizations who collaborates with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) to facilitate the implementation of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

03. What is the difference between NDIA & NDIS?

The agency tracks the progress of participants in the NDIS, consistently updating their plans to guarantee they receive suitable support. The NDIA is committed to fostering social inclusion and enabling individuals with disabilities to have control over their lives and the services they choose.
